Life April
I often wonder what I would do if I had a “Magic Wand” and could change things in this world. What would I make disappear and what would I make appear? I’m pretty sure I would make courses for ‘mindfulness’ free for everyone. Not for religious reasons but because I believe practicing mindfulness can give a person many benefits, improving one’s quality of life, and it doesn’t use up resources or harm other people. It is a completely “gentle” practice, but I must admit I found it a bit tricky to learn.
I highly recommend learning it – preserving until you pick it up.
Another thing I highly recommend is learning the Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) for parents, but I am biased here. If you’re reading this, you know why. Parenting is such a challenging role, and we don’t really get any formal training to do it. We’re just handed a baby and told “Congratulations!”.
Whether you do a free on-line course, or work with a Practitioner like me, it’s well worth the investment.
A final thing I would do with my “Magic Wand” is to put up giant billboards with positive statements, like this favourite one of mine: In A World Where You Can Be Anything, Be Kind
